Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS
Why this applies to Ipratropium, Albuterol
Ipratropium, Albuterol falls under BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS — the group Green Coffee interacts with.
Green coffee can contain caffeine. Caffeine can increase cardiac inotropic effects of beta-agonists.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version. Your Combivent inhaler contains albuterol, which is a beta-agonist. Albuterol can already give some people a fast or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, or a slightly stronger heart squeeze. Green coffee contains caffeine, which is also a stimulant. So in theory, stacking the two together could nudge those heart-related effects a bit higher.
I want to be honest: this concern is based on how these ingredients work, not on strong studies, and it really only applies to large, concentrated green coffee supplement doses, not a normal cup of coffee. Still, if you notice more racing heart, tremor, or feeling wired, that's worth mentioning. Before adding a green coffee supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ipratropium, Albuterol page
“Combivent (ipratropium with albuterol) is an inhaler that opens the airways two ways at once, by blocking acetylcholine and stimulating beta receptors, and both mechanisms give supplements a route to pile on. Its list of 45 interacting ingredients warrants real attention, chiefly because two rate major: henbane and scopolia, herbs whos…”

About Green Coffee
What is Green Coffee?
- Weight loss
- High blood pressure
- Blood sugar control
- Antioxidant support
- General energy
Green coffee is the unroasted bean of the coffee plant, prized for its high chlorogenic acid content. Some early studies suggest modest benefits for weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar, but the evidence is limited and far from conclusive. It contains caffeine, so people sensitive to stimulants should use caution and check with a pharmacist or doctor first.
