Green Coffee + Terazosin
Terazosin brand names: Hytrin, Terazosin.
Green Coffee has a minor interaction with Terazosin. Theoretically, taking green coffee with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Terazosin
Terazosin falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Green Coffee interacts with.
Clinical studies have shown that green coffee extract decreases blood pressure. When used with antihypertensive drugs, green coffee might have additive blood pressure-lowering effects. However, this has not been shown in clinical research.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Terazosin lowers your blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, and some studies suggest green coffee's chlorogenic acid can nudge blood pressure down a little too. Stack the two together and you could get a bigger drop than expected. That might show up as dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint, especially when you stand up quickly. Terazosin is already known for that 'first-dose' drop, so it's worth keeping in mind.
The good news: this is rated a minor, theoretical concern, and it hasn't been clearly proven in studies. A regular cup of coffee is unlikely to matter much; concentrated green coffee supplements are where I'd be more cautious. If you want to try one, check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and watch how you feel.

About Green Coffee
What is Green Coffee?
- Weight loss
- High blood pressure
- Blood sugar control
- Antioxidant support
- General energy
Green coffee is the unroasted bean of the coffee plant, prized for its high chlorogenic acid content. Some early studies suggest modest benefits for weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar, but the evidence is limited and far from conclusive. It contains caffeine, so people sensitive to stimulants should use caution and check with a pharmacist or doctor first.
About Terazosin
What Is Terazosin Used For?
Brand names: Hytrin, Terazosin
Terazosin capsules and Tezruly oral solution are both used to relieve the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — the enlarged prostate condition that causes trouble urinating — in adult males. They are also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either alone or combined with other blood pressure medicines.
Lowering blood pressure with terazosin reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. Tezruly (the oral solution) may be used alone or alongside other antihypertensive agents for hypertension.

Terazosin Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Terazosin as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Green Coffee — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
