Bromazepam is a benzodiazepine, so it already works by calming the nervous system. That's what makes it useful for anxiety, but it also explains the drowsiness, fuzzy thinking, and slowed reactions some people notice. Rauvolfia vomitoria has its own calming, sedative-like effects, at least in animal studies, so pairing the two could in theory deepen that sleepiness and leave you feeling more sluggish or unsteady than usual.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these compounds behave, not strong human data. Still, since extra drowsiness or dizziness can affect driving and falls, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. Please don't change your bromazepam on your own.
