Ephedrine Sulfate falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Rauvolfia Vomitoria interacts with.

Yohimbine, a constituent of Rauvolfia vomitoria, has sympathomimetic effects and increases blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner. Theoretically, taking Rauvolfia vomitoria with stimulant drugs can have additive stimulant and hypertensive effects.

Here's the concern with pairing these two. Ephedrine is a stimulant that revs up your sympathetic nervous system, raising blood pressure and heart rate. Rauvolfia vomitoria is complicated because it contains several different alkaloids. One of them, yohimbine, also acts as a stimulant and can push blood pressure up on its own. When you stack two things that both raise blood pressure and stimulate the heart, the effects can add up.

In practice that could mean a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, headache, anxiety, or a noticeable jump in blood pressure. I'll be honest: this is a theoretical warning based on how these compounds work, not from strong human studies. Still, since both can stress the cardiovascular system, please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
