Inhaled Insulin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might interfere with blood glucose control.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones, such as levothyroxine, which can interfere with blood glucose control and necessitate adjustment of diabetes drug therapy. It is not known if tiratricol has these effects.

Here's the gist for inhaled insulin (Exubera). Insulin works by lowering your blood sugar, and it isn't a prodrug, so nothing has to switch it on first. The concern with tiratricol is more indirect. Because it acts like thyroid hormone (T3), it can rev up your metabolism and shift how your body handles sugar, which may move your blood sugar around and make your insulin needs harder to predict.

I want to be straight with you though: this is a theoretical worry based on how thyroid hormones behave, not proven for tiratricol. Honestly, the bigger problem is that tiratricol itself is unsafe and FDA-warned. Please don't use it, and talk with your doctor or pharmacist before changing any insulin dosing.
