Pazopanib falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might increase the hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones such as levothyroxine. The hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants, including warfarin (Coumadin), are increased by levothyroxine due to increased catabolism of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is not known if tiratricol has a similar effect.

First, a quick honesty note: the interaction we have on file pairs tiratricol with blood thinners like warfarin, where thyroid-type hormones can speed up the breakdown of clotting factors and raise bleeding risk. Pazopanib (Votrient) is not a blood thinner, it is a kinase inhibitor used for kidney cancer, so that specific warfarin interaction doesn't map neatly onto it.

The bigger issue is that tiratricol is a dangerous, FDA-warned product that you simply shouldn't be taking. It can speed up your heart and strain it, and pazopanib itself can raise blood pressure and affect the heart, so stacking the two could add real cardiovascular trouble. Please don't change anything on your own, but do talk with your oncologist or pharmacist before going near any tiratricol-containing supplement.

What Is Pazopanib Used For?

Brand name: Votrient

Pazopanib tablets — sold as the brand Votrient and as generic pazopanib — are used to treat two types of advanced cancer in adults: advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), the most common form of kidney cancer, and advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) in patients who have already received prior chemotherapy.

Important limitation: Pazopanib has not been shown to work in adipocytic soft tissue sarcoma (a subtype involving fat cells) or in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), so it is not used for those cancers.
