Theoretically, cola nut might reduce the effects of phenobarbital and increase the risk for convulsions.
Cola nut contains caffeine. Animal research suggests that caffeine can decrease the anticonvulsant activity of phenobarbital. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Your medicine is a combination, and the part that matters here is the phenobarbital, which helps calm down overactive nerve signals and is sometimes used to prevent seizures or settle the gut. Cola nut is basically a natural source of caffeine, a stimulant that works in the opposite direction by revving up the nervous system.

The concern on file is that caffeine could partly push back against phenobarbital's calming, seizure-protecting effect, which in theory might make seizures easier to trigger. I want to be honest though: this comes only from animal studies and has not actually been seen in people. A regular cup of cola is unlikely to matter, but concentrated cola nut supplements add up. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
