Warfarin brand name: Warfarin.
Green Coffee has a moderate interaction with Warfarin. Theoretically, green coffee may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Warfarin
Warfarin falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Green Coffee interacts with.
Green coffee can contain caffeine. Caffeine is reported to have antiplatelet activity. Theoretically, caffeine in green coffee might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with these agents. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans. There is some evidence that caffeinated coffee might increase the fibrinolytic activity in blood.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the gist with warfarin: it's one of those medicines where the dose is finely tuned, so we pay close attention to anything that might nudge it. On paper, the caffeine in green coffee is thought to have a mild blood-thinning (antiplatelet) effect, which could in theory add to warfarin's effect and slightly raise bleeding risk. That might show up as easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or pink-tinged urine.
Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on how the ingredients work, not something that's actually been seen in real patients. The everyday cup of coffee almost certainly won't matter. Still, because warfarin leaves little room for error, I'd mention any concentrated green coffee supplement to your pharmacist or doctor, and keep up with your regular INR checks.

About Green Coffee
What is Green Coffee?
- Weight loss
- High blood pressure
- Blood sugar control
- Antioxidant support
- General energy
Green coffee is the unroasted bean of the coffee plant, prized for its high chlorogenic acid content. Some early studies suggest modest benefits for weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar, but the evidence is limited and far from conclusive. It contains caffeine, so people sensitive to stimulants should use caution and check with a pharmacist or doctor first.
About Warfarin
What Is Warfarin Used For?
Brand name: Warfarin
Warfarin sodium tablets and Jantoven tablets are both used to prevent and treat venous thrombosis (blood clots in the veins) and pulmonary embolism (a clot in the lungs). They are also used to prevent clot-related complications in people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) or who have had a heart valve replaced.
In people who have had a heart attack, warfarin is used to reduce the risk of death, another heart attack, stroke, or other clotting events. It does not dissolve an existing clot, but it helps prevent the clot from growing and stops new dangerous clots from forming.
