Here's the simple version: cenobamate (Xcopri) already works by calming overactive electrical signals in the brain, so it can make you feel drowsy, dizzy, or a little unsteady on its own. Rauvolfia vomitoria has shown sedative effects in animal studies, so putting the two together could, in theory, stack that sleepiness and make those side effects feel stronger.

I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on how these compounds behave rather than firm human studies. Still, Rauvolfia is a potent plant, and cenobamate is a serious seizure medicine, so please don't pair them without checking first. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before adding this supplement, and watch for extra grogginess, dizziness, or trouble concentrating.
