Alogliptin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might interfere with blood glucose control.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones, such as levothyroxine, which can interfere with blood glucose control and necessitate adjustment of diabetes drug therapy. It is not known if tiratricol has these effects.

First things first: tiratricol (TRIAC) is not a real dietary supplement. It's a synthetic thyroid-like compound that the FDA has warned against because it can strain your heart and throw your thyroid system out of whack. I'd steer clear of it entirely, no matter what medications you take.

As for your Kazano (alogliptin plus metformin), the concern here is mostly theoretical. Thyroid hormones tend to push blood sugar upward, so something acting like thyroid hormone could, in theory, make your sugar harder to control and partly work against your diabetes medicine. We don't have solid proof tiratricol does this, but if your readings start running high or feel erratic, loop in your pharmacist or doctor rather than adjusting anything on your own.
