Aspirin, Pentazocine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Ephedra interacts with.

Theoretically, ephedra might decrease levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
Some animal research suggests that ephedra induces CYP1A2 and increases the clearance of CYP1A2 substrates such as caffeine.

Talwin Compound combines aspirin with pentazocine, a pain reliever. The concern here is mostly theoretical and comes from animal lab work, not human studies. The idea is that ephedra might speed up a liver enzyme (CYP1A2), which could clear certain drugs out of your body a little faster. If that applied to pentazocine, you might in theory get less pain relief than expected.

Honestly, the bigger issue is ephedra itself. It is a banned stimulant that can dangerously raise blood pressure and heart rate, and that risk far outweighs this weak enzyme question. Please don't use ephedra, and talk with your pharmacist or doctor about safer choices.
