Vonoprazan, Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Ephedra interacts with.

Theoretically, ephedra might have an additive effect with drugs that prolong the QT interval.
Even in healthy volunteers, EKG changes including prolonged QT interval and premature atrial contractions have been reported with ingestion of recommended doses of ephedra. Ephedra may have an additive effect with drugs that prolong the QT interval. This may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias.

Here's the concern with this combo. Your Voquezna Triple Pak contains clarithromycin, an antibiotic that's well known for stretching out the heart's electrical recovery time (what doctors call the QT interval). Ephedra contains ephedrine, a strong stimulant that can also nudge the heart's rhythm and has caused EKG changes like a prolonged QT, even at normal doses. Stack them together and you raise the odds of a dangerous irregular heartbeat.

This is rated a major interaction, and remember that ephedra is banned in U.S. supplements anyway because of heart and stroke risks. I would not pair these. If you're on this H. pylori treatment, please skip ephedra and ask your pharmacist or doctor about safer choices.

Let me walk you through this one. Your Voquezna Triple pack (vonoprazan, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin) is a short course used to knock out an H. pylori stomach infection. Two of those drugs, clarithromycin especially, can occasionally stress the liver. Ephedra has also been tied to real cases of liver injury. So the worry here is that stacking two things that can each be tough on the liver might add up, even though this concern is mostly theoretical and based on how these substances behave rather than hard proof.

To be honest, my bigger concern is ephedra itself. It's banned in U.S. supplements for good reason, since it can dangerously raise blood pressure and heart rate. Please skip it and talk with your pharmacist or doctor about safer options.
