These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Green Coffee interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Caffeine, Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Green Coffee in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
1 of 2Why this applies to Aspirin, Caffeine, Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate
Aspirin, Caffeine, Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Green Coffee interacts with.
Green coffee can contain caffeine. Caffeine is reported to have antiplatelet activity. Theoretically, caffeine in green coffee might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with these agents. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans. There is some evidence that caffeinated coffee might increase the fibrinolytic activity in blood.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the gist for Synalgos DC, which combines aspirin, caffeine, and dihydrocodeine. The aspirin part is what matters most here. Aspirin already thins the blood a bit by keeping platelets from sticking together, and on paper the caffeine and chlorogenic acid in green coffee may nudge that same effect a little further. So the theoretical concern is a slightly higher chance of bleeding or bruising, things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset and irritation from the aspirin.
I want to be honest though: this is only a theoretical worry based on how these ingredients behave, and it has not actually been reported in people. The other piece worth a mention is that Synalgos already contains caffeine, so a caffeine-heavy green coffee supplement could pile on the jittery, racing-heart feeling. If you take this combo regularly or in higher doses, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

STIMULANT DRUGS
2 of 2Aspirin, Caffeine, Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate also falls under STIMULANT DRUGS.
Green coffee can contain caffeine. Due to the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant effects of caffeine, concomitant use with stimulant drugs can increase the risk of adverse effects.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the thing about Synalgos DC: it already has caffeine built right into it (along with aspirin and dihydrocodeine). Green coffee also contains caffeine, so taking the two together basically stacks one stimulant on top of another. That can lead to more of the usual caffeine side effects, like feeling jittery or restless, a racing or pounding heartbeat, trouble sleeping, an upset stomach, or a bump in blood pressure.
This concern is mostly based on expert opinion rather than strong studies, so it's not an alarm bell. Still, if you're sensitive to stimulants or notice your heart fluttering, it's worth mentioning. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing green coffee supplements with this medicine, especially in concentrated doses.
