Insulin brand name: NovoRapid Insulin.
Green Coffee has a minor interaction with Insulin. Theoretically, taking green coffee and antidiabetes drugs might interfere with blood glucose control.

ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Insulin
Insulin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Green Coffee interacts with.
In clinical research, green coffee extract results in modest reductions in blood glucose levels in various populations. However, other reports claim that caffeine might increase or decrease blood sugar levels.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the gist for your NovoRapid (insulin): green coffee may nudge your blood sugar a little, but the effect is small and the research behind it isn't strong. The chlorogenic acid in green coffee might lower blood sugar modestly, while its caffeine can sometimes push sugar up or down. So the two influences can pull in different directions.
Insulin already lowers your blood sugar directly. If green coffee adds to that, you could see occasional low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), with shakiness, sweating, or dizziness. This is unlikely and considered minor, but since you're managing diabetes, it's smart to keep checking your glucose as usual and let your pharmacist or doctor know if you start a green coffee supplement so they can watch your numbers.

Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Insulin page
“Someone injecting insulin (NovoRapid) is often the same person browsing supplements sold for blood sugar support, which is exactly why this list warrants genuine caution. Nearly all 242 entries push glucose one way or the other, most often further down, stacking with insulin and raising the risk of hypoglycemia, meaning dangerously low…”

About Green Coffee
What is Green Coffee?
- Weight loss
- High blood pressure
- Blood sugar control
- Antioxidant support
- General energy
Green coffee is the unroasted bean of the coffee plant, prized for its high chlorogenic acid content. Some early studies suggest modest benefits for weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar, but the evidence is limited and far from conclusive. It contains caffeine, so people sensitive to stimulants should use caution and check with a pharmacist or doctor first.

Insulin Is Linked to Lower Levels of 2 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Insulin as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Green Coffee — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
