Theoretically, taking Rauvolfia vomitoria with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Preliminary clinical research shows that drinking a beverage containing Rauvolfia vomitoria foliage and bitter orange fruit lowers blood glucose levels. Hypoglycemic effects of Rauvolfia vomitoria have also been demonstrated in an animal diabetic model.

Acetohexamide is an older sulfonylurea pill that lowers your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin. Here's the wrinkle: some early research suggests Rauvolfia vomitoria may have its own blood-sugar-lowering effect. If you stack the two, those effects could add up, and your sugar might drop lower than you intend.

In real life that could look like shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling faint. I'll be honest with you though, this is a theoretical concern based mostly on lab and animal work plus one small human study, not strong proof. Still, since hypoglycemia is no joke, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them, and keep an eye on your readings if you do.
