Start with the three entries rated major. Grapefruit can raise pomalidomide levels by blocking the liver enzyme that clears it, St. John's wort can push levels down by speeding that same enzyme up, and activated charcoal can soak up the dose before your body absorbs it. Either direction is a problem when the drug's job is keeping cancer in check.
