Here the supplement and the medicine work in an interesting direction. Your esterified estrogens (Menest, Estratab) can slow down the liver enzyme that normally clears caffeine from your body. So it isn't that the coffee changes your hormone therapy. It's the other way around: the estrogen lets caffeine hang around longer.

In real life that means a regular cup or two of coffee may hit you harder than it used to. You might notice more jitteriness, a racing or pounding heart, trouble sleeping, or feeling on edge. This is rated moderate and likely, though it's based on limited evidence. You don't need to give up coffee, but if you feel wired, easing back may help. Check with your pharmacist or doctor if you're unsure.
