These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Hemp interacts with whole categories of medication. Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Pseudoephedrine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Hemp in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Minor).
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
1 of 2Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Pseudoephedrine
Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Pseudoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Hemp interacts with.
In vitro research shows that hemp induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with this combo cold and allergy product. Lab studies (in test tubes, not people) suggest hemp might speed up an enzyme called CYP1A2, which can play a small role in clearing certain medicines. In theory, that could nudge the levels of these drugs down a little, meaning your acetaminophen (Tylenol), chlorpheniramine, and pseudoephedrine might not work quite as well. So you could notice slightly less relief from a stuffy nose, sneezing, or aches.
Honestly, this is rated minor and rests on weak evidence, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Food amounts of hemp seeds or oil almost certainly don't matter. If you use concentrated hemp supplements regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist to be safe.

CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
2 of 2Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Pseudoephedrine also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES.
In vitro research shows that hemp induces CYP3A4 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for this combo cold-and-allergy product. Lab studies suggest hemp may speed up a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which helps break down many medicines. The chlorpheniramine (the antihistamine) piece relies partly on that enzyme, so in theory hemp could clear it a little faster and make it slightly less effective. None of these three (acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine, pseudoephedrine) are prodrugs, so we're not worried about hemp boosting their effects.
Honestly, this is a minor, theory-only concern based on test-tube research, not real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Eating hemp seeds in food is very unlikely to matter. If you take concentrated hemp supplements regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

- General nutrition (omega fatty acids)
Hemp seeds and hemp seed oil are nutritious foods rich in protein, fiber, and healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and they are generally safe for most people as part of the diet.
