Hemp + Triazolam
Triazolam brand names: Halcion, Triazo, Apo-Triazo, Gen-Triazolam, Mylan-Triazolam, and others.
Hemp has a minor interaction with Triazolam. Theoretically, hemp might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Triazolam
Triazolam falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Hemp interacts with.
In vitro research shows that hemp induces CYP3A4 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for triazolam (Halcion). Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break this sleep medicine down. In lab studies, hemp appears to nudge that enzyme to work a little faster. If that happened in real life, your body could clear triazolam a bit quicker, which might make it less effective at helping you fall or stay asleep.
I want to be honest, though: this is only seen in test-tube research, not in actual people, and it's rated minor. Everyday hemp seeds or hemp oil in food are very unlikely to throw off your sleep. If you're using concentrated hemp supplements and notice your sleep slipping, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Triazolam page
“Triazolam (Halcion) is a potent, fast-acting sleep medication, and I'd approach its supplement list with genuine care rather than a quick skim. Nine of the 197 flagged ingredients carry a major rating, and they cluster around two problems.”

About Hemp
What is Hemp?
- Plant-based protein source
- Heart health support
- Skin and hair health
- Reducing inflammation
- General nutrition (omega fatty acids)
Hemp seeds and hemp seed oil are nutritious foods rich in protein, fiber, and healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and they are generally safe for most people as part of the diet. While the nutrition is real, strong human evidence that hemp supplements treat specific medical conditions is limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using hemp products for a health concern, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
About Triazolam
What Is Triazolam Used For?
Brand names: Halcion, Triazo, Apo-Triazo, Gen-Triazolam, Mylan-Triazolam, Novo-Triolam, Nu-Triazo
Triazolam tablets are approved for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults. Treatment is generally intended for 7 to 10 days. Halcion (a brand of triazolam) is specifically indicated for this same short-term use in adults.
Using triazolam for more than 2 to 3 weeks requires a full re-evaluation by your doctor to rule out an underlying medical or psychiatric condition driving the sleep problem.
