Hemp + Bendamustine
Bendamustine brand names: Treanda, Belrapzo, Vivimusta.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Bendamustine
Bendamustine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Hemp interacts with.
In vitro research shows that hemp induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for hemp and bendamustine (Treanda, Belrapzo, Vivimusta). Lab studies suggest hemp might speed up an enzyme called CYP1A2, which is one of the pathways that helps process bendamustine. If that enzyme works faster, your body could clear the drug a bit quicker, which in theory might mean slightly less of the cancer-fighting effect you're counting on.
Now, I want to keep this in perspective. This is a minor, theoretical concern based only on test-tube research, not on real patients, so it may not amount to much in practice. Still, bendamustine is serious chemotherapy, so don't add any hemp supplement without first running it by your oncologist or pharmacist. Hemp seeds in normal food amounts are far less likely to matter than concentrated supplements.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Bendamustine page
“Bendamustine (Treanda, Belrapzo, Vivimusta) is IV chemotherapy for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and certain lymphomas, and the liver clears it through an enzyme called CYP1A2. That enzyme is why nearly all 87 supplements on this page appear here, since about 80 of them can push CYP1A2 up or down, which could either raise side effects o…”

About Hemp
What is Hemp?
- Plant-based protein source
- Heart health support
- Skin and hair health
- Reducing inflammation
- General nutrition (omega fatty acids)
Hemp seeds and hemp seed oil are nutritious foods rich in protein, fiber, and healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and they are generally safe for most people as part of the diet. While the nutrition is real, strong human evidence that hemp supplements treat specific medical conditions is limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using hemp products for a health concern, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
