Argatroban falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Hemp interacts with.

Theoretically, hemp seed might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In animal research, hemp seed at 5% of the diet inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro. However, in human research, taking hemp seed oil 2 grams daily for 12 weeks does not inhibit the aggregation of platelets in vitro.

Here's the gist: argatroban is a powerful IV blood thinner used in the hospital, usually for people who can't take heparin. The concern with hemp is that, in theory, hemp seed might add a little to argatroban's blood-thinning effect, which could nudge up the risk of bruising or bleeding (think nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or harder-to-stop bleeding).

That said, this is a very weak, theoretical worry. The signal comes from animal and lab studies, and a human study using hemp seed oil for 12 weeks did not affect how platelets clump. Since argatroban is given and closely monitored in a hospital setting, your care team is already watching your clotting numbers. Still, it's worth mentioning any hemp products you use to your doctor or pharmacist.
