Daridorexant falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Hemp interacts with.

Theoretically, hemp might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Daridorexant (Quviviq) is the sleep medicine you take to fall and stay asleep, and your body clears it using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The concern on file is that hemp might speed up that enzyme a bit, which could lower how much daridorexant stays in your system. In theory, that might make it work less well, so you could notice it takes longer to drift off or your sleep feels lighter.

Here's the reassuring part: this is rated minor and comes only from lab (test tube) research, not real people. Everyday hemp foods like hemp seeds or oil are very unlikely to cause a problem. If you're using concentrated hemp supplements and feel your sleep slipping, just check with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
