Glipizide, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Rauvolfia Vomitoria interacts with.

Theoretically, taking Rauvolfia vomitoria with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Preliminary clinical research shows that drinking a beverage containing Rauvolfia vomitoria foliage and bitter orange fruit lowers blood glucose levels. Hypoglycemic effects of Rauvolfia vomitoria have also been demonstrated in an animal diabetic model.

Here's the gist: your Metaglip combines glipizide (which tells your body to release more insulin) with metformin. Both work to bring blood sugar down. The concern is that Rauvolfia vomitoria may also nudge blood sugar lower on its own, based on some early human and animal findings. Stack the two together and you could theoretically drift into low blood sugar more easily.

Low blood sugar can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling unusually hungry. To be honest, this is a theoretical interaction, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding this plant, since Rauvolfia is potent stuff anyway.
