STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine
Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Guarana interacts with.
Guarana contains caffeine. Due to the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant effects of caffeine, concomitant use with stimulant drugs can increase the risk of adverse effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here is the piece worth knowing about Zutripro: it contains pseudoephedrine, which is itself a stimulant decongestant. Guarana is basically concentrated caffeine, so stacking the two means you are layering one stimulant on top of another. On paper, that combo could nudge up your heart rate, raise blood pressure a bit, and leave you feeling jittery, anxious, or wired, sometimes making it hard to fall asleep.
This is a theoretical concern based on how caffeine and pseudoephedrine both rev up the body, not on hard clinical proof, so I do not want to alarm you. A cup of coffee likely is not a big deal, but concentrated guarana energy products are a different story. If you have heart issues, high blood pressure, or anxiety, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

About Guarana
What is Guarana?
- Energy and alertness
- Reducing fatigue
- Weight loss support
- Athletic performance
- Mental focus
Guarana is an Amazonian seed that is naturally high in caffeine, which explains most of its stimulant and energy effects. While it may give a short-term boost in alertness and reduce fatigue, strong evidence for weight loss or major performance gains is limited, and it carries the same risks as too much caffeine. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have heart problems, anxiety, or are pregnant.
