Temsirolimus falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Hemp interacts with.

Theoretically, hemp might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here's the basic idea with hemp and your Temsirolimus (Torisel). This cancer drug is processed in your body by an enzyme called CYP3A4. Some early lab research hints that hemp might speed that enzyme up, which could clear temsirolimus a little faster and possibly make it slightly less effective at slowing your tumor's growth. Temsirolimus is the active drug itself, not a prodrug, so faster clearance means less benefit, not more.

I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from test-tube studies, not from real patients, and it's rated as minor. Everyday hemp seeds or hemp oil in food are very unlikely to matter. Still, with a cancer treatment this important, please run any concentrated hemp supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
