These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Rauvolfia Vomitoria interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Caffeine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Rauvolfia Vomitoria in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Major).
STIMULANT DRUGS
1 of 2Why this applies to Aspirin, Caffeine
Aspirin, Caffeine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Rauvolfia Vomitoria interacts with.
Yohimbine, a constituent of Rauvolfia vomitoria, has sympathomimetic effects and increases blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner. Theoretically, taking Rauvolfia vomitoria with stimulant drugs can have additive stimulant and hypertensive effects.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
The part of Anacin we care about here is the caffeine, which is a mild stimulant that can bump up your heart rate and blood pressure. Rauvolfia vomitoria contains yohimbine-related compounds that also rev up the nervous system and can push blood pressure higher. Put the two together and those effects may stack, so you could feel jittery, anxious, have a racing or pounding heart, or notice your blood pressure climbing.
To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these ingredients work, not strong human studies. Still, because Rauvolfia is a potent botanical and the rating here is major, I would not combine them on your own. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you already deal with high blood pressure or heart issues.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
2 of 2Aspirin, Caffeine also falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS.
Rauvolfia vomitoria contains small amounts of yohimbine. Research in healthy adults shows that taking yohimbine in doses of 8 mg or more seems to inhibit platelet aggregation in vitro by binding to the alpha-2 adrenoceptor. The effects of Rauvolfia vomitoria itself are unclear.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Anacin (the aspirin plus caffeine combo) and Rauvolfia vomitoria. The aspirin part already thins your blood a little by keeping platelets from clumping together. This African root contains tiny amounts of yohimbine, and in lab studies yohimbine can also nudge platelets toward not sticking. So in theory, taking the two together might add up and make you bruise or bleed a touch more easily.
I want to be honest: this is a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, not on solid human studies, and the amount of yohimbine in the plant is small. Still, since Rauvolfia is a potent herb on its own, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing it with any aspirin product.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Caffeine page
“Anacin combines aspirin with caffeine, so supplements can hit it from two directions, and a few of the 347 on this list deserve real respect. The biggest group, over 200 ingredients, can raise bleeding risk on top of aspirin's blood-thinning effect; beer and wine carry major ratings because alcohol plus an aspirin-type drug makes stoma…”
