Theoretically, yohimbe might reduce the effects of antihypertensive drugs.
Yohimbine, a constituent of yohimbe, is an alpha-2 adrenoceptor antagonist and has been reported to increase blood pressure in clinical research. Theoretically, concomitant use of yohimbe and antihypertensive drugs can interfere with blood pressure control.

Here's the thing about pairing yohimbe with levamlodipine (Conjupri). Levamlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that you take to bring your blood pressure down. Yohimbe works in the opposite direction. The yohimbine in it blocks certain receptors that can raise your heart rate and push your blood pressure up. So the two can essentially fight each other, and your levamlodipine may not control your numbers as well as it should.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how yohimbe behaves, not a flood of real-world reports. Still, since yohimbe supplements vary so much in strength and can spike blood pressure on their own, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Levamlodipine (Conjupri) is a blood pressure medicine that your liver clears using an enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies hint that yohimbe may speed that enzyme up, which could theoretically lower your levamlodipine levels and make it work a little less well. If that happened, you might see your blood pressure creep back up.

Here's the honest part: this concern comes only from test-tube research, not from people, so it's rated minor and theoretical. On top of that, yohimbe itself can raise blood pressure and heart rate, which works against what your medicine is trying to do. That's the bigger real-world worry. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding yohimbe.

Yohimbe is a West African tree bark that contains yohimbine, a compound mainly promoted for erectile dysfunction and as an aphrodisiac. A prescription form of yohimbine has some evidence for erectile dysfunction, but over-the-counter yohimbe supplements vary widely in content and can cause serious side effects like high blood pressure and fast heart rate. Because of these safety concerns, talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
