Seventy-eight of these ingredients pile on that sedation, alcohol and kava among the worst rated, and with an opioid the combination can push breathing dangerously low. Eight entries rate major, and those deserve your attention before any of the rest.
The risk does not stop at sedation. Thirty-eight ingredients can strain the liver, adding to a drug your liver already has to process, and about sixty involve a shared liver enzyme that can shift levels of the drug or the supplement. Activated charcoal works the opposite way, soaking up an oral dose before it absorbs, so keep the two well apart. The remaining 141 moderate and 23 minor entries are manageable, but while you are on an opioid, anything sedating needs a hard look first.
