Dextromethorphan, Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Danshen interacts with.

Danshen might alter the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Preliminary clinical research in healthy males shows that the administration of danshen for 10-14 days induces intestinal CYP3A4 and increases the clearance of midazolam, a CYP3A4 substrate. The maximum concentration of midazolam was decreased by 31% to 67%, and drug levels were decreased by 27% to 80%. However, a single dose of danshen has the opposite effect, increasing maximum concentrations of midazolam by 87%.

Here's the deal with combining Danshen and your Actifed DM. One of the three ingredients, dextromethorphan (the cough suppressant), is partly handled by a liver and gut enzyme called CYP3A4. Danshen can nudge this enzyme in different directions. In a small human study, taking Danshen for 10 to 14 days actually sped up clearance of a CYP3A4 medicine, which could make dextromethorphan a little weaker at quieting your cough. Interestingly, a single dose of Danshen did the opposite and raised drug levels.

This is fairly mild and not well studied for this exact combo, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The pseudoephedrine and triprolidine pieces aren't really affected here. Since Danshen can also thin the blood, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before pairing them.
