Meprobamate, Tridihexethyl falls under GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS — the group Danshen interacts with.

Theoretically, danshen might affect the levels and clinical effects of drugs requiring glucuronidation.
In vitro research shows that danshen induces the expression of glucuronosyltransferases. However, it also inhibits the activity of glucuronosyltransferases, including various members of the 1A and 2B families. The extent of inhibition of a specific glucuronosyltransferase seems to be dependent on whether or not the danshen is processed via 'sweating'. This type of processing may affect the levels of constituents in danshen that alter glucuronosyltransferase activity. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

This combination pairs Danshen with Pathibamate, which contains meprobamate (a calming, sedating medicine) and tridihexethyl (an anticholinergic for stomach cramps). The meprobamate part is partly cleared from your body through a process called glucuronidation. In test-tube studies, Danshen can both speed up and slow down the enzymes that handle this step, so the net effect is hard to predict. If clearance slowed, meprobamate could build up a bit, meaning more drowsiness, dizziness, or grogginess.

Here's the reassuring part: this is theoretical, based only on lab work, and it has never actually been reported in people. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since meprobamate already makes you sleepy, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Danshen.
