Two thirds of the 306 supplements on file can thin the blood or slow clotting, and stacked on an NSAID that raises the odds of stomach bleeding. Beer and wine sit among the seven major-rated entries for exactly that reason: alcohol plus diclofenac is a known route to GI bleeds.
Much of the rest changes how much diclofenac actually reaches you. Quercetin raised its blood levels by 75 percent in one small study, while charcoal and thick fiber products can block absorption, so space those well apart from your dose. The remaining 265 moderate and 34 minor entries include a smaller cluster that adds strain on the kidneys or the liver, two organs this drug already works hard.
